Meeting at a Lucinda Williams concert in Boston was an interesting start for this musical couple’s journey.  Currently based in Oregon, and hungry for travel, Adams & Costello perform and record together regularly offering a unique blend of influences in their catchy songwriting.  Both grew up cherishing rock, americana, blues and have been musically active and writing songs since they were in grade school. Prior to forming the duo, Michael Costello played in a Boston band called Razor’s Edge, and his extraordinary guitar playing helped the group open for Jimmy Cliff and Buddy Guy.  

Beginning as a long distance couple exchanging creative ideas, they quickly realized the intense chemistry they shared.  Fusing Michael’s passion for roots music and authentic grit, with Julie’s sultry rich vocals and driving rhythms, they deliver their message and touch the hearts of audiences with relatable songs.  When joined with a full band or performing as a stripped down duo, this pair creates an intriguing sound that comes alive during their shows. Both lead singers, both songwriters... combining forces in this folk-rock outfit.  The core of Adams & Costello is built from the hearts of two cross country artists with dreams who came together to make this sound, crafted from hard work, combined decades of songwriting chops, and a penchant for taking risks.   They are currently working on their next album and reaching for new adventures on the road ahead.
